Cheshire Novel Prize Proudly Presents our Winners & Listed Writers 2024

Hello,

Well, what a brilliant adult prize it has been this year! We had 1980 entries, and the talent was off the scale. We gave away 341 sponsored places which is a record amount for underrepresented writers. Thank you to everyone who entered and to everyone who has supported us over the last three years.

We are the ONLY  prize worldwide that gives feedback to every writer who enters for the entry fee, and we are really proud of that. The reason it takes us so long to do feedback is we do it ourselves and we do not market you for editorial assessments. Feedback is still going out and we will have them all done by the 3oth November 2024 and so please be patient and bear with us. The feedback is bespoke and that takes time.

A massive thank you to our wonderful 2024 judges: Clara Foster, Hayley Steed, Rachel Neely, Elvin Mensah and Darcy Nicholson for their brilliant feedback, time and energy in judging for us.

So to the prize news. Congratulations to all of our shortlisted and longlisted writers and of course to our winners:
