We are pleased to announce two more exciting luxury writing retreats focussed on honing your craft in June and September 2026 in a stunning luxurious countryside location in the South Cotswolds. Please note this is a high end luxury writing retreat with a 21 hours of taught workshop content and afternoons free to write. The retreats aim to give you the tools and confidence to improve your craft working in a small group of 12 with editor Sara Naidine Cox and also the space to write.
Feedback will be given verbally on the first 5000 words of your novel in a half hour 1-1 session with Sara.
The schedule each day will be as follows:
09:00 - 09:30: Morning pages structured exercise led by
09:30 - 10:30: Taught workshop
10:30 - 11:00: Morning coffee
11:00 - 12:30: Taught workshop
12:30 - 13:00: Lunch
13:30 - 1400: Reflection
14:00 onwards: Free writing time
19:00 – 21:00: Dinner
21:00 - 22:00: Non-compulsory writers evening sessions with the group
All rooms are private with ensuite shower. There is a gym and steam room on site, a games room, 2.5 acres of woodland and countryside surrounding the venue with a short walk to the local village shop and country pub. More details of train routes and directions will be given on booking, but the nearest train station is Cam and Dursley, and the nearest airport is Bristol.

All accommodation and all meals and soft drinks/coffee//tea and snacks but not alcohol. You are welcome to bring your own alcohol and leave it in the fridge. However the first evening we will host a drinks reception, and we will provide wine and beer.

First 5000 word feedback given verbally in half hour 1-1 session
All meals and snacks are catered for, (breakfast is on a help yourself basis and for hot food you will cook your own) but for all other meals you won’t need to lift a finger the whole time! Our private chef will cater for all meals which include lunch and a two course dinner. We are more than happy to accommodate special dietary requirements.
Morning coffee/tea will be served at 1030 am and afternoon tea/coffee and cake will be served on a help yourself basis in the main kitchen from 15:30 PM.
There are four ground floor rooms available for access and all workshops and communal areas are on the ground floor level.
The venue has full super-fast Wi-Fi and TV as well as lovely grounds to explore.

Please note there will be a resident very friendly dog on site.
Costs per person are all inclusive at £1800 with one smaller double room at £1400. If you wish to bring a partner to enjoy the facilities but not attend workshops, the cost for that is an additional £500.
Places are on a first come first served basis. The taught element of the retreat is for a maximum of 12 people.
