Congratulations to all of our LL writers. Remember that our LL must remain anonymous. Please feel free to mention a novel, but please don’t tag the author if commenting.

The short list is announced on the 30th of June 2023 @2pm.

Our long, long list is made up of an additional 68 books. Those eligible for the agent showcase, which starts on the 10th of August 2023 will receive their feedback in the next 30 days. The feedback will tell you that your novel has made the long, long list and we will send further instructions about the showcase. We don’t publish the books online until the showcase is launched.

Feedback will start to go out on Monday 22nd May 2023. Please note that with so many entries, the feedback may take some time to get to you, so please be patient. However, all feedback will be sent by the 30th of August 2023. The feedback is sent randomly and so please don’t worry if someone you know has feedback and you do not. You can help us by ensuring that entry@cheshirenovelprize.com is added to your desk top and if you haven’t heard from us by the 1st September with your feedback, please check your junk and if not there, email us with the title of your novel and your full name.

Stay tuned to our Twitter and Instagram. We will be running lots of events and Instagram lives with writing tips, plus streaming our awards ceremony live.

Thank you to everyone who entered, and to our amazing readers.

 Kindest regards,

 Sara Cox
